LOCATION
5km south of Royan and situated between the coast and the forest, the popular seaside resort of Saint-Georges-de-Didonne has a gently sloping sandy beach stretching over 3.5km, and is ideal for families. The resort is also surrounded by oak forests and boasts an attractive lighthouse and plenty of leisure activities.

OTHER ACTIVITIES
A range of activities are available in the resort, including watersports such as sailing, wind-surfing, catamaran, optimist, sand-yachting, and sea kayaking, tennis, an 18-hole golf course (in Saint-Palais), mini-golf, fishing, cycling trails and mountain biking, walks along the coast, boules, excursions on a touristic train including commentary about the surrounding coastline, pedle cars for hire, as well as a weekly street market during the summer season, restaurants serving local specialities, and a cinema and nightclub.
